We came here with family from Holland, and loved the place from the moment we walked in! Very warm welcome, nice and friendly family who make you feel at home. The rooms are beautiful and nicely decorated. Thank you family Carlson for the nice hospitality! We will be back!

We visited this lovely lodge the night of August 21st and we had a wonderful visit. The owner (and I do wish I could remember her name) was very nice and wonderful to visit with as was her son, Will. We enjoyed spending time with them. Our room was clean, our bed comfortable and I would recommend this lovely lodge to anyone traveling in the area.
Very clean and well kept. A great night sleep in a beautiful part of the country. Owners are very accommodating and helpful. They make you feel at home. Would highly recommend and will go back next time I'm in the area!
I stayed here with my friend last weekend, and we had a great time. The owners are amazing, the place is clean, and it's close to some great attractions. As an added bonus, Will is a licensed massage therapist and miracle worker. He helped me walk again after I finished my first half triathlon. Wonderful place!
I just spent the weekend at Carlson's Lodge. I am giving this place 5 stars. The grounds are beautifully kept, Carol and Will were very gracious hosts. The rooms was very large and well furnished and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had a great flow. The price of the room is a great deal as other hotels in the area were much more expensive. My room had a beautiful view of the mountains. It is close to all local attractions and right in the middle of the White Mountains.
