Always a pleasant experience. We've never stayed as an overnight guest, but visit frequently during our hikes in the area. The store has some great books about the White Mountains, the staff are great resources for the area. The programs and guided hikes there all look like fun! Beautiful setting as well.
Rooms are clean, if bare. Bathrooms are the same. Food could be improved, as could the lounge area. Not sure if it's worth the price compared to staying at a real hotel and just driving to the hikes.
This place is amazing. I bring my students every year and the staff is fantastic. Fabulous food, too.
Great place to leave a vehicle and do the 20 mile presidential range Traverse from Route 2 and then drive back to Appalachia afterwards there is no parking fee to leave the carspot here
Very good facility. Good, but not spectacular food. No atm, which was disappointing. Very well placed relative to the mountains, plenty of parking at the time. Would definitely go there again, mostly because of its convenience.
